Securing Lillianna’s “happily ever after”— We are in the final phases of the adoption process for Lilly!
Background: at 2 years old, Lillianna tragically and suddenly lost her birth mom, followed by a series of chaotic changes, more tragic losses, and trauma.
Fast forward a bit— Shortly after, she found herself in the arms of her Mom and Dad, with a stable, safe home full of unconditional love (and now a baby sister!) It has not been an easy road but love gives us the strength to keep fighting.
Our family needs to go through this last step. Right as we got her adoption date, her case was appealed. We had no choice but to go through the Supreme Court process, and we do not have the means to cover the lawyer fees due to the pandemic.
Legally, our family has experienced over 3 years of litigation and emotional upheaval (due to privacy reasons we are not disclosing any other details) — but finally, the hardest parts are over and we are —hopefully— at the very end.
Please help us as we fight to give our little girl the forever family she deserves!
