Final expenses for the sudden passing of my father

My father Paul was hospitalized in the middle of October for complication with advanced COPD and congestive heart failure. While he was there we found that he also had a collapsed lung. After 12 days of intensive treatment, he was not able to recover as his body was not strong enough to heal all these issues at once. Unfortunately he passed away on 10/28. He was unable to afford any kind of life insurance as he was on a fixed income. He did not wish to have a funeral or viewing. However we are still left with the cremation and burial expenses. With it being so close to the holidays, we are struggling to make ends meet along with this unfortunate event. Any help would be appreciated.
