Final Expenses for Harold Bell

On the afternoon of Thursday November 5th 2020, Harold Bell was crossing Old Colony Rd. in front of his home when he was struck and killed by a speeding vehicle. The driver never stopped to help Harold, and he was simply left to die in the road.

Harold was a beloved fixture in this community, leaving behind two sisters and countless friends. Everyone in the neighborhood knew him and loved him for his humor, his kindness, and his keen mechanical mind.  All recognized him walking, wearing his signature cowboy hat. Old Colony Road will not be the same without him.

Harold, for all of his gifts, had very little in the way of material possessions. These things meant little to him. What mattered to Harold were helping people, and admiring the beauty of the natural world around him. As such, there are very little in the way of financial resources available to give him the dignified burial he deserves.

Any money in donated will go directly to helping Harold's surviving sisters pay for any funeral expenses he needs, including an obituary in the paper, a burial plot at Walnut Grove Cemetery, and perhaps a headstone.
