HELP HOPE BECOME TAM'S SERVICE DOG

Donation protected
I recently lost my beloved pet due to complications of GME. Acacia lived with her disease for 4 years. She was my very loyal & cherished companion. A sweet heart to no end! Two 1/2 years before Acacia's passing, we lost our best friend Brady to sinus cancer. Brady was our goofy, independent, adventurist. I miss my two pets immensely!
My wish is to raise funds for a service dog. A companion to hang out with and to love. A trained service dog to help me with some needs as I use a wheelchair. In the future, my service dog can become a therapeutic dog and visit children who are hospitalized.
My puppy will be a Labradoodle $2500.00 (a non-shedding pet will best fit my capabilities), & trained by Alyson Freitas-Rodges at: http://www.alyspuppybootcamp.com/ . She will receive Pillars of Pack Leadership® Happy Puppy Life Skills: A 4 week experience in this DIAMOND PUPPY PACKAGE that includes everything in Happy Puppy Play & Manners plus a solid foundation in basic obedience: Let’s Go, Automatic Sit, Here, No, Quiet, Stand, Paws Up, Down, Off, Treadmill Work, Grooming Manners, Car Riding Manners, & Exposure to more as my pup is ready. PLUS ForceFree Method™:  A 3 week experience in this PLATINUM PACKAGE for pooches 20 weeks of age and older. The ForceFree Method™ is an intuitive system of training that makes sense to both people and dogs. Effective and gentle, the training method works WITH a dog’s instincts rather than against them. We achieve off leash reliability, even with distractions, amazingly fast. The cost for both is $3255.00
Further training to be decided in regards to task performance (pick things up that I'm not able to, open doors, pull manual chair when necessary, stiffen body for me to catch my balance, etc.). Additional costs for shots, crate, vest, vet fees, etc.
Your monetary donations will be a blessing!
My Background:
I became paralyzed as a tetraplegic during a gymnastics accident. Before my paralysis, I was involved in many extra curricular activities, such as an actor with PCPA Solvang Theatrefest, a majorette with The Santa Maria Batonettes Baton and Drum Corps and Santa Maria High School, an equestrian member of Santa Maria Roping and Riding Club, a Most Valuable Player with the Santa Maria High School gymnastics team and also qualified for CIF, and a member of Job’s Daughters. After my injury, I became involved in Access Theatre of Santa Barbara. I acted and sang the role of Cora, a mermaid, in ‘Legend of the Crystal Waters’ at the Lobero Theatre. I continued my acting career by playing Adrienne in ‘Ask Max’, a Disney Sunday Night Movie. After training at The Professional Actors Conservatory, I played the role of Bridgett in ‘Sweet Chariot’ at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC with VSAarts. Later, eleven of us playwrights wrote PH*reaks, a play about the history of the disabled, for The Mark Taper Forum New Works Festival in Los Angeles. I was honored to also perform in the production of PH*reaks.
More recently, I graduated with a Masters of Science in Child Life from the University of La Verne. With my degree, my goal is to provide intervention services for children and their families in a healthcare or children’s services setting.
