Filling Pathways and Feeding Futures in Kenya

Donation protected
Together, before the ending of the year, we can make a difference in a Kenyan small village.

I was blessed to experience touring in Kenya this November 2024. A beautiful country with lovely, heartwarming people. As a tourist spending hours on the terrible roads and maneuvering through large potholes that make driving, walking and riding motorcycles nearly impossible for guests and villagers, I knew I had to help.

While driving through the little village of Miti Mingi, three Villagers were trying to fill incredibly large potholes with sand, hoping to create safer pathways and receive monetary tips from the people driving through for their hard earned work.

I witnessed our driver give just $2 to three men working hard to repair the roads. Their reaction was unforgettable—they jumped with joy and thanked him profusely. That $2 was enough for bread and milk for all three of them.

The village of Miti Mingi is where I want to begin to support the people and their pathways. I saw people determined to make a difference and deeply appreciative of support. With your help, we can employ them to repair their roads and provide food security at the same time.

Just $250 CAD feeds an entire village for a month! My goal is $500. Let’s build stronger communities, one pathway and one meal at a time. ❤️

Your donation – no matter how small – will make a difference. Mike’s $2 made a difference, so will your donation.

This village needs supplies too. If you would like to purchase small items to help with the children walking in the dark to school such as solar powered lights and reflective tape or stickers so they can see and be seen, this would be incredible. They are also in need of pens, pencils and sharpeners for school. Plus, I have been requested to ask for bibs for the babies in the village.

Any small item you can provide will be boxed and sent to Michael Gitahi Maina, the driver of Predators Safari and an advocate for humanity and the environment. All donations can be dropped off to Life Is Good at 222 Main St. S. Newmarket.

This holiday season, I personally do not want any gifts. Instead, I want to support our brothers and sisters in Kenya. Your contribution will make that wish a reality.

"When" we exceed our goal, more villages will reap the benefits of our kindness.

Asante Sana (Thank you very much)
