Fill a Cart Radiothon! Food Pantry Fundraiser

Every summer,  Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry and Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry come together, asking for community wide support to make sure *no one* goes hungry.  Over 30,000 people in Dupage, Kane and Kendall Counties are nourished by these organizations each year!

On Friday, June 28th, join the 13 hour LIVE BROADCAST with 95.9 The River at three Aurora restaurants.  Come share a meal and meet your favorite radio personalities!

Hundreds of volunteers help share food 6 days a week with neighbors in need. 

Summertime is when pantries have the least amount of food in stock. Extra support is needed when kids are at home.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS

Founded in 1980, Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry operates one of the largest food pantries in northern Illinois, distributing 3.3 million pounds of food to more than 19,000 individuals annually.  

The mission of Aurora Food Pantry is to help end local hunger by ensuring that everyone has access to enough nourishing food, thereby helping the overall community stay healthy and productive. Learn more > 

Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry was formed in 1957 by its namesake Marie Wilkinson, a lifetime social and civil rights activist who fought against poverty, hunger, homelessness, joblessness, and injustice.

Marie’s East & West Pantry volunteers share healthy food with 11,000 people annually.  Special service times focus on nourishing students, seniors, veterans and persons challenged with disabilities, helping to raise the quality of life for the community as a whole. Learn more >
