The Lunch Box

For some students in our community, a school lunch could be the only good meal a child gets each day.  Kids should be having fun and learning in school, not worrying about whether or not they have enough money to eat.  To alleviate the burden of a negative lunch balance for kids in the Bennett school district, I've created a gofundme as one way to help offset the $3,864.65 current school lunch debt.  Please join me in this effort to support these kids in our community and help them to be the best they can be one bite at a time.  

There are other ways to contribute to the fundraiser in the Bennett community:

* Dining to Donate: On January 24, 2019, three local restaurants will donate a portion of food purchases towards the fundraiser:

o McDonald’s on S. 1st St. 4-7 pm
o Carl’s Jr. on S. 1st St. 430-8 pm
o Subway on 1st St. 430-8 pm,

* Shopping to Donate: A community garage sale at the Bennett High School on Saturday, February 2, 8am – 2pm in the commons. ALL proceeds will go directly towards lunch debt.
