Bendigo Toyota is hosting a Drive-Through Donation drop for Bendigo Foodshare on Friday 20th November.
If you can't make it to the drive-though to donate non perishable food items or if you live out of town and want to help make a difference...DONATE HERE...and we'll do the grocery shop for you.
All funds raised here will be used to purchase as many groceries as possible to add to our Fill It For Foodshare campaign to help out Bendigo Foodshare. That food is then distributed to 89 local schools, community organisations and charities in Central Victorians from Echuca to Kyneton, that help provide emergency food relief. 1 in 9 Central Victorians can't afford to put enough food on the table each week.
Bendigo Foodshare does not receive ongoing government funding. It is a charitable organisation that rescues donated and surplus food to feed thousands of local people each week via local charities, community groups and schools across Central Victoria.
The recipients of the food are everyday people.B Babies, the elderly, students, retirees and everyone in between. Some are hard- working families struggling with unforeseen circumstances, people on fixed incomes trying to meet the demands of the rising costs of living, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic or even children going to school with little or no food.
So...purchase some extra food this week at the supermarket and bring it to our Drive-Through Donation drop at Bendigo Toyota on Friday the 20th November OR donate here and we'll do the shop for you.
All of us can make a massive difference in the lead up to Christmas!
