Our mission team will be traveling to the Fiji Islands in May to minister in churches, outdoor crusades, and to bring assistance to impoverished people in the remote areas and villages. Our services there will range from one on one witnessing to large crusade services with hundreds of people hearing the Gospel.
We will begin our mission in the town of Sigatoka on the main island of Viti Levu working with Rose of Sharon A/G with several worship services, crusades, and children’s ministry.
Next, we will travel to the outer island of Taveuni where we will hold outreach services. We will be transporting people by bus from the villages to a soccer field on the 180 Meridian. An interesting fact about this place is one side of the property is officially “yesterday” and the other side is “today.” It is the place in the world where everyday officially begins! Each day, we will go out into villages and towns to seek out those in need and offer a helping hand.
After several days on Taveuni, we will travel by boat to the island of Vanua Levu to minister in the town of SavuSavu.
Our ministry time in Fiji will focus upon outreach and bringing the Gospel to the broken and hurting. Many of these people, especially in the outer islands, will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel preached for the first time in their life.
I will also be meeting with several pastors there to discuss church planting and ongoing support of existing ministries. We will also be planning a youth conference there for a later date.
