Littleton Residents vs. City Gov't

Help David beat Goliath! 

Our group, Advocates for Littleton, is challenging the City of Littleton's improper decision to approve (without any public process) a development called The Grove.  This 4 & 5 story, 4.3 acre project would be squeezed into a neighborhood of historic homes,  casting a shadow on the homes across the street, snarling traffic, and dwarfing the iconic courthouse.  Two years ago, a near twin of this project (Broadstone) was turned down for a rezoning by City Council.  To avoid opposition, this time the project applied for the "right to redevelop" the property by claiming it meets B-2 and R-3 zoning requirements for the site, (meaning the project was approved by the city administratively without ANY public process). THE GROVE DOES NOT MEET ZONING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SITE, BUT THE CITY APPROVED IT ANYWAY.

We love our Littleton, and we object not only to the project, but to the terribly unfair and wrongful process by which the City of Littleton approved it.
