Please Help Tammy through Surgery

THIS ENTIRE STORY BEGAN WITH A SURGERY THAT BROUGHT OUT THE LYME. I AM NOW HAVING TO HAVE SURGERY AGAIN TO REPAIR DAMAGE DONE AND ALSO REMOVE A HERNIA. I WILL HAVE 2 SEPERATE DR'S AT UVA WORKING ON ME. THE SURGERY IS SCHEDULED FOR DEC. 19TH I am not looking forward to it at all!! I will be down for at least 4 weeks and in a lot of pain. I was ask if I thought I could handle both surgeries at the same time and I said yes. I just want it over and to hopefully not have to problems with my colon and also they will be moving my bladder because it is pinching causing problems. Sigh......
My house payments have returned as of November and I have yet to be heard in front of the Disability Judge. That is scheduled for January 12th. I pray that with all my physicians backing me and writing letters in agreement and explaining why that this will go through. This does not mean I cannot get better BUT it does HELP me financially until I do. Please pray with me. Until then I am completley wrung dry. I have things on sites trying to sell and I am planning on going to Rockys to pawn some jewely, not that it is that expensive. Anything will help and I am so so appreciative of everything that is done and had been done!! I feel like I have ask for too much at this point but I do not know what else to do. I do not want to lose everything before the boys leave home for their own lives.

Hello, my name is Tammy Breeden. On April 7th 2014 I awoke with a fever of 104.6 and joint pain along with the bones behind my ears being inflamed and very sore. Of course I went to my regular doctor thinking I had the flu or something and maybe an ear infection but boy was I in for a surprise. My regular Dr. took blood work and just said to drink lots of fluids take ibuprofen for the temperature and she would see me back on the 9th. I did this and have gotten worse. Wednesday came and the blood work came back ok, she wasn't sure what was going on. She gave me antibiotics anyway and sent me home. I couldn't get the prescription filled till the following morning so I got up that morning to get this done. STOP what is this all over me? There are little circular dots/rash EVERYWHERE..... Called the Dr. back and of course she blamed it on the antibiotics and I informed her that I indeed had not even taken them yet. Back to her office..... She decides to run a Lyme test because the rash looks similar to this. She also started me on steroids. (BAD -read this Lyme & Steroid Disaster  ) It takes a WEEK to get this result back so in the meantime I am in excruciating pain and continuing to get worse. I go to ER twice and am sent home with diagnosis of Fibermyagia and Peripheral Neuropathy and told to see a Rheumatologist. On Wednesday night I am up the entire night in uncontrollable pain, I wait until 6 a.m. Thursday morning till I know my father is awake and call him and beg him to come take me to UVA that I cannot stand it anymore!! He is on the way and at this point I cannot walk, dress myself and all I can do is cry. Before my father and I get things together to go to UVA my regular doctor calls and says "I AM SO SORRY!! You are not crazy!! You have Lyme disease! I have called Sentara RMH and they are awaiting you arrival. They will get you started on the correct antibiotics and get your pain under control. OK GREAT they know what's wrong. Dad takes me to the hospital where they start treatment. I am there for 3 days, 2 nights; I see 7 different Doctors and NO ONE... NOT ONE knew what to do for me. The Doctor that signed my release papers apologized and said she was so sorry she was unable to help me.
From this point on I have been searching for answers and HELP. I have seen countless physicians. I travel to Lexington Va to see a LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) and also have support here with a Rheumatologist, Neurologist, gastroentologist and my PCP.I go twice a week for therapy one day for warm water therapy, one days for T.E.N.S. therapy. I go once every 4 weeks to have nerve block shots in my head and neck to try to control the daily migraines. I am working with my gastroentologist to try to control my intestinal issues because on top of having Celiac Disease, Lyme affects the intestines as well. Even with a strict diet I am having some major issues with this. The pain is constant and usually runs on about a 3 or 4 during the day depending on my activities (if you haven't read the spoon theory that is how I deal (The Spoon Theory ) but in the evenings it goes crazy! My arms, shoulders and neck are spasming and painful. My hands and feet are inflamed and HOT. My legs are aching and I cannot stand without something to hold onto because I never know when they will give out. The migraines with orbs and blind spots are almost daily so I am sensitive to light and noise. I feel as if I am being ripped from the inside out. My BP goes up every evening I am guessing from the pain 105/160 + and this gives me a panic feeling. I cannot take pain meds One because I am allergic to almost everything and Two because they don't help much with nerve pain. I take an Epsom bath and use heating pads and ice packs to try to control the pain.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and I am sure you are tired of reading about all this but I am reaching out for help and I need people to understand that Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia together with Celiac and Migraines and everything else is taking away my once very full, very good life! I want it back! I have been ask to join a Chronic Lyme Study at the National Institute for Health in Bethesda MD so I am hoping to get some help there but until then I am trying to work with my army of doctors to control this and hopefully regain my life. I am a single parent and I have pulled all my resources together and made it through the last 9 months but I am out of help. I cannot pay for my prescriptions as the deductible has reset at the first of the year and I desperately need them to continue this fight. Please if you have read this far, please pass onto others that may be able to help. My church continues to pray and I know that those prayers are helping as I am still alive. I also want to thank all the people that have done so much for me, they are held close to my heart and I wouldn't be as far as I am without them!
