Fighting for Custody

As a few of you may know, I have been trying to get more custody of my daughter, Rhonda, for some time now and this has been the hardest fight I've ever endured.

I'm not here to talk poorly of Rhonda's mother, but believe me when I say that it would be highly beneficial for Rhonda if she lived with me full-time. However, as a father, I've experienced major difficulty in trying to gain more custody no matter what or how much I prove.

We had a 3-hour trial this past Wednesday where I submitted all my evidence and had all my witnesses speak. But, due to time, Rhonda's mother wasn't able to testify so the judge set a date to continue the trial on December 8.

Prior to Wednesday, I put in a lot of time preparing for trial. I had no idea what to expect or what I was about to walk into, but I tried my best to prepare myself as much as possible. I truly felt that I was going to win the case because it seemed that I was more prepared than she was, and everything I said was true and from the heart. But after the judge called a continuance of the trial, I started to lose hope because now she can go home and review everything my witnesses and I provided, and she can prepare for the next trial date when she gets to testify.

With that said, I'm looking to hire an attorney to represent me. I have a consultation appointment with  one next Friday. But with the high cost of retainer fees for an attorney, it's hard for me to continue this on my own, so I'm reaching out to the public, as well as my friends and family. If you can donate even just a dollar, it would be very much appreciated.

I'm normally not one to ask for help, but Rhonda means so much to me and I just want to raise her in a loving environment and have more stability in life so she can succeed in school and as an individual.
