<div>Hi! My name is Celeste.

</div>

<div>I never imagined I’d be asking for help like this, but this morning my husband was taken by ICE here in Chicago. We are devastated and everything in our lives changed in a matter of minutes.

<div>My husband is a hard working, loving family man who has always done everything he can to support me and become a part of ny family. Now I’m 8 months pregnant, unable to work, and trying to navigate a situation far bigger than I can handle alone. We don’t know how long he will be detained or what comes next for our family.

</div>

<div>I’m creating this GoFundMe to help hire an immigration attorney as soon as possible just the initial retainer will cost between $1,500-$2,000, and we have no idea what additional legal fees or expenses will come after that. Anything raised beyond the attorney fees will go toward rent and basic necessities for the next couple of months as I prepare to give birth.

</div>

<div>This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I’m trying to stay strong for my children and for the baby on the way. Any help, no matter the amount, means the world to us. And if you can’t donate, please share this; sharing helps more than you know. ♥️

<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this and for any support you’re able to help with.

<div>If you want your full contribution to reach us without fees, you can message me directly as well. Anything truly helps.
