<div>Acorn Bioenergy is seeking permission (CM/0022/22) to build a huge industrial anaerobic digester on the outskirts of Long Crendon towards Oakley. The 5.8-hectare site at Hornage Farm would see up to 194 HGVs per 11-hour day passing through our already congested and poorly maintained roads and those of surrounding villages.

<div>We urgently need funds to commission a comprehensive traffic and environmental impact assessment of the proposed development on the villages of Long Crendon, Oakley, Chearsley and Chilton.

We are contributing skills we have built up from a range of backgounds including planning, sustainability, media, communications, parish council and the civil service.
