Fighting for Rachel

Rachel was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic ovarian cancer in March 2016. A benefit was held in 2016 but the funds raised then have been expended. Rachel continues to incur expenses from treatment, insurance premiums, co-pays, prescriptions, travel, and related expenses. Rachel has looked into numerous assistance programs, her mom's friends had a benefit, and her cousin raised funds through a benefit site. Rachel is grateful for the generosity however as treatment continues costs continue to accumulate. In addition the travel for treatment increases the wear & tear on her car which leads to increased maintenance expenses. Basically cancer sucks & the insurance system makes it costly for anyone affected by this horrid disease.
