Fighting for Joey ❤️

Joey Bigit
7 years old

On November 28th, 2017 it was confirmed to Michael and Abby Bigit that their son Joey has a tumor in his abdomen and that he needed to be admitted to St. Jude Children's Hospital to have more tests. Since then he has had a biopsy to determine what kind of cancer he may have. Hopefully when they get the results they will have a better understanding as to what we are dealing with and what needs to be done to get Joey well. No matter what the results are, there will be a recovery or treatment process. Michael and Abby will need to be at the hospital by Joey's side as much as they can. Abby's position at work does not include PTO benefits. Due to this, she will not have the money to cover day to day living expenses if she takes time off. We have opened this page for anyone who would like to donate to the Bigit family. Anything will help and be greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and for your continued prayers! We know that the Lord has his arms around Joey and that He will carry them through this ❤️

Words written by Abby and shared on Facebook:

Prayer Warriors, friends, family, loved ones! We just got off the phone with our St. Jude doctors and they are all in agreement that this is a BENIGN VASCULAR TUMOR! In other wonderful words NO CANCER! This is an answered prayer and we are thanking God! ❤️❤️Our most gracious Heavenly Father, we love you and thank you! We give all the glory to you Lord! ❤️❤️And, Thank you to all of YOU for praying on our behalf. We love you all and cannot thank you enough! ❤️❤️ we are now being discharged from St.Jude and referred now to Lebonheur for treatment options. Our doctor mentioned this can be anything from chemo medications (to shrink the tumor) to surgery. We will know more once we meet with the Lebonheur doctors!!
