Support us in our fight for another miracle - a sibling to our son!
Infertility....... a taboo subject that so many couples struggle with. That’s also one of the reasons why we now choose to take on this fight publicly.
It shouldn’t be taboo, and it shouldn't be something to be embarrassed about. If we can help someone not to feel so alone in this roller coaster of emotions it’s worth it.
All of this began back in 2013 with our longing for a child. It turned out to be extremely difficult for us to get pregnant so we reached out to a fertility clinic for help. They discovered that Jessica have "diminished ovarian reserve", this means that the number and quality of the eggs is lower than expected for your age.
Jessica is going to go into menopause much earlier.
We don’t have much time left to get pregnant.
After five years, seven attempts, two miscarriages and tens of thousands of euro our little miracle finally blessed us with his presence.
Words can never express the gratitude and love we feel for the privilege of having our son ❤
When he turned two we decided to have another try with IVF.
Now one year later we've gone through 10000€, four more IVF treatments and another heartbreaking miscarriage.
The doctors still say our chances are quite good and we're not ready to give up just yet.
The hardest part is that we may not be able to give our son a sibling.
If we succeed in bringing yet another miracle in to life we´d of-course be extremely happy, but if not,
we won't regret that we pushed our pride aside and reached out for help.
Because when our son start asking us for a sibling, we can say that we gave our all and did the best we could.
We have already spent well over budget and we need to press pause and think of the
child that we do have and the life that we want for our family.
BUT we're NOT ready to give up just yet.
So how do we go from here?!
We started another IVF savings account, saving everything we can.
The thing is: by the time we'd reach the goal ourself, it's probably to late.
It´s not one single contribution that matters but all ours together - without you this will not be possible.
When we can start our next IVF treatment we will share the complete IVF process with you. All of it, the good and the bad.

Dealing with secondary infertility and undergoing IVF treatments is hard and stressful.
IVF is an all-consuming process that's emotionally intense.
Daily injections, tons of hormones, ultrasounds, bloating and the painful egg retrieval.
The toughest part is being thrown between hope and despair.
