The Backstory
In November of 2019, Tonya Bremner Soukup, (my daughter) was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, after finding a lump in her breast and a lump under her arm. She went in for a mammogram and a biopsy and was given the news.
Chemo treatment was started immediately along with continuing to eat healthy, adding broccoli sprout smoothies, going vegan and other natural remedies. Treatment will likely include several surgeries and radiation since it appears that it may have metastasized to her ovary.
A second opinion on treatment was obtained from Wake Forest Cancer Center and they are overseeing her treatment. Tonya has been put on a stronger chemo with an infusion every three weeks. It knocks her down for at least a week afterwards with it getting a bit better over the next two weeks until she goes in for another treatment. She is keeping very positive and a blessing to all those she meets throughout this journey.

The Cost
Already, only two months into this journey, her part of the treatment is well over $5000 and that's barely begun. Of course, they have medical insurance, but it's a high deductible plan and leaves much for Steve and her to pay. Already the treatment centers are clamoring for their funds and threatening to send them to the collection agencies.
The Future
After all the treatment is done, Tonya wants very much to go to a natural treatment center that will teach her the best ways of making sure the cancer doesn't come back, so she can remain happy and healthy for a very long time. She is 44 years old and full of life! She has many more years she wants to be around to be a blessing to her family and friends.
In Addition
In addition to treatment, they have a daughter in college, which adds to their expenses. Their daughter is working as much as possible to cover tuition, but there's only so much a young person can earn and go to school, too.

So we are asking for your help! Thank you for sharing with a person who is such a giver/uplifter to everyone she meets. Whatever you can help with is GREATLY appreciated and will go to help cover all the extra bills that are piling up.
