For those who know Suzi, knows that she is an EXTRAORDINARY human being. She is loving, caring, smart, cheerful, never sitting idle, never out of work, unbelievably strong and always puts her family first.
On 26/11/2019 our beautiful friend Suzuki started her journey with a simple routine mammogram check, little did she know she would be facing one of her biggest challenges yet.
December 10/12/2019 Suzuki received at text message to contact Princess Charles Breast screening clinic. 11/12/2019 Suzuki and husband, was informed they want to do another mammogram, followed by ultrasound and then they performed a biopsy.
Friday 13/12/2019 Suzuki and husband returned for the biopsy results, returning a positive result. 23/12/2019 Suz had her meeting with her specialist, followed with pre- admission follow up on the 24/12/2019, as she was booked in for her first operation on 06/01/2020.
On her return for her postoperative check, Suz and her husband was informed, they hadn’t removed all the cancer and she would need more treatment. At this stage Suz will be undergoing Genetic test, Bone scan, ultra sound and medical imaging.
Through all of this Suz has been staying positive and strong and appreciates all the well wishes she has been receiving.
Due to this illness she will temporarily be unable to hold her full time position at the airport. Considering how she loves her job, having no regular income will be a test in many ways.
Most medical expenses are not covered by insurance so I'm asking at this vulnerable time in her life that we rally behind her as she takes on this fight. Every penny and every prayer counts. A little goes along way and can help alleviate the stress of monetary issues.
