Fighting Breast Cancer for Izzy

Earlier this year our friend and co-worker was diagnosed with breast cancer. Every day she still wakes up with a positive attitude and tries to come into work and live a normal life during her chemo treatments. She is having treatment every 3 weeks and not able to come in for days in a month. Although we see her struggle and the toll this horrible disease is taking on her, she remains strong. To see her go through this and still make it into work is heart breaking. We aren’t all built to handle and endure such pain and do the best we can to make it. We don’t all have unlimited amount of paid time off to help cover the days we simply just cannot get up and make it into work after spending the day having chemicals and radiation pumped through our bodies. 

She had a normal life before this, just as we do. She has a household to maintain on top of now all of these medical expenses.  I have created this go fund me account to help our dear Izzy. I know it’s hard for her as well as her family to see her go through this. It’s hard for us as her work family to see her struggle.  Help us raise money and support her during this hard and emotional time in her life.
