<div>On June 26, 2025, I alerted Metro Council leadership and the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office that I intended to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General’s Office about things that went on during a <strong>special closed door meeting behind the public's back.</strong> I made this decision carefully, with integrity, and in full transparency — and I explicitly stated that I was providing notice of my intent to protect myself against retaliation.
