Fight for Titus' Recovery!

We are asking our friends, family, and community to help us with a miracle.  Titus Olusanya (pictured right) suffered a severe stroke at age 33 due to a heart condition he has had since birth.  After two years of much prayer and dedicated effort, he has regained some mobility and limited speech, but the specialized treatment he further requires for recovery from the stroke as well as recovery for his heart condition is only available in the U.S.  The churches in West Africa financially supported him to come with his father and sister to seek treatment here in Chicago.  They have come all this way and found the hospital's policy is requiring the full payment of $36,000 up front before providing any treatment at all.

Titus and his family love God and have given their home to serve the church for over 40 years.  Prior to the stroke, Titus was very useful and dedicated to the young people across West Africa in organizing youth conferences and meetings.  Following the stroke, after months of silence, the first words he spoke were "O God."  Even after losing life functions you and I may take for granted, he and his family have never faltered in the words of blessing they speak.  Please join us in our fight for Titus' recovery by offering your prayers, and if you are able, any financial support.  The sooner we can acquire support, the sooner he can begin treatment.  The goal may seem lofty, but our God is much greater!
