Bonnie Tobin Sarcoma Fight

Please read: Hi! My name is Hannah, and I am a 20 year old Pittsburgher. My family consists of my mom Bonnie, dad Paul, and I. My fierce and silly and 5' tall mom was first diagnosed last year in March with an extremely rare cancer called a liposarcoma in her leg. She has fought through multiple surgeries to remove a large 5 lb tumor and for infections in 2015, and this year it has unfortunately  recurred again in May. It was removed and she was still healing and doing physical therapy with plans for radiation, until today on August 12th, we found out it came back devastatingly for the third time. This means the Doctor's first choice of action is complete amputation of her leg. However, we do not live in a house that is accessible to a recovering leg surgery let alone a wheelchair bound person. We have no bathroom on our first floor, so she has been sleeping in our dining room and using a potty chair which we must empty. Now that amputation is our reality, we see the need to build bathroom on the first floor and possibly get a stairclimber so she can go to bed in her own bed. She is devastated and so are we, and is terrified at the idea of such drastic change to her way of life without even a way to relieve herself and sleep like we all have the daily privilege of doing. Please donate what you can to help our project here... she is the most friendly and loyal and upbeat woman I know, which anyone who has ever even met her will agree to! All we want is to see her get that fire back and to be able to live as independently as she wants to. Thank you!!!
