Kim's family and friends are uniting to raise money to help with her battle against cancer on her liver, pelvic, and possibly her kidneys.
In December 2011, Kim was diagnosed with stage 2 cervical cancer. After a long bout with chemotherapy, radiation, and undergoing a full hysterectomy, Kim was in the clear as of mid 2012. We were all ecstatic with the wonderful news! Since then, life has been pretty good.
In spite of all the positive follow-up appointments with her doctors, almost exactly 2 years later, Kim received horrible news all over again. She's now undergoing more rounds of chemotherapy for recurrence of cervical cancer, which has metastasized to her liver and possibly her kidneys. Besides prayer, we need your help financially. After being admitted to the hospital for at least one week of relentless chemo treatments, Kim was informed that her secondary insurance will NOT pay for any of this. This is going to leave her and her family in such a huge financial burden. A burden that they have no choice, but to endure because of the importance that Kim defeats this battle with cancer. Her husband, Boo, and their 5 kids, Kierra, Kadiedra, Charles, Timothy, and Jordyn need her! Obviously Kim has so much to live for, and we will not stop fighting for her full recovery!
Kim has such a generous heart, and has always made sure that everyone else is taken care of before herself. Her benevolent smile is essential to not only the lives of people who are close to Kim, but to even a stranger walking by. She has helped raise 4 beautiful kids, whom she has fostered since they were in elementary school. They have grown up to be warm-hearted and respectful young adults because of the love Kim and Boo have given them. Jordyn is the most canny little 4 year old you will meet. She's beautiful inside and out, and the resplendent look on her face when she simply looks at her mom is fascinating.
Anything you can do will help this appreciative family. Normally they're the ones that are giving back to those in need. This time they need our help in this fight. Let's all pitch in and see that Kim sustains this battle!
