As most of you know my dad was diagnosed last August with Glioblastoma Multiforme(GBM). A GBM is a very aggressive primary malignant grade IV brain tumor. This all started August 19, 2014 when Devon had a seizure at work and was rushed to the hospital. The tumor was discovered after he had an MRI scan. He had surgery August 26, 2014 and most all of the tumor was removed from what the naked eye could see. Devon completed 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation. He had a couple of clear MRI scans. Then May 2015 the tumor had returned. That's when we turned to The Brain Tumor Center at Duke. The tumor is inoperable because it is located next to a major artery. He is currently a participant in a clinical trial at Duke in North Carolina. We travel to Duke for his treatment every 3 weeks. It's roughly a 5 hour drive. With all the medical bills, travel expenses and hotel costs, money is tight and I'm just trying to help him anyway that I can. Any donation would be a true blessing.
