Our mom April is a truly beautiful women inside and out, shes caring, strong and passionate. She would do anything to help anyone. She is our encourager and our rock, she has always been there for us so now we need to be there for her.  Our Mother raised 4 children on her own, being the sole provider struggling but determined to make things work so that us her children would never go without, but also so the people she loved and cared about would never go without. Some of you may know her personally and others just know her through facebook. On  August 12, 2015 our mom got the news that she had been dreading. Three tumors in her right foot, one in her left, one in her right shin, and one in her right shoulder. Because of all of these locations the doctors decided not to operate in fear of the Cancer spreading elsewhere. This is her third time with cancer. She also has a major heart problem that may require open heart surgery. She has developed a sun sensitivity which is a big problem because she is a painter. This is making it hard for her to go to work, never mind working a whole day. She has tried transfusions but they didn't help much. She is just learning the extent of her cancer and heart problem. It's more severe than earlier predicted. She had to stop treatment for a while because that and her other medication had a bad reaction on her heart puting her at a higher risk for a heart attack. While treatment was on hold she then developed another tumor in her back. After deciding there is no other choice but to keep going, our mom has bravely decided to restart her treatment and stay on her heart medication. Although this wasn't advised due to that extent of her heart damage and the risks and challenges that come along with deciding to proceed with treatment, knowing that this has a chance to end her life she realized this is the only hope she can get better.
Its not easy to ask for help as our mom is always the one gluing pieces back together, she wouldnt never ask on her own. She is stubbornly independent. Medical issues take their own toll emontionally, physically and financially. The cost of perscriptions, gas and or transporation and bills are quickly adding up and will continue as treatment progresses and her ability to work becomes far lesser to completely unable to. So we her four children ages 21, triplet 16 year olds, and her 5 month old Grandson  come to you friends, family and strangers and we ask you to help us bring our moms glow back, and help take some of the weight off of her shoulders by helping ease some of these burdens. She is facing and will continue to face expenses not covered by her insurance company. Any amount is appreciated more then we can thank you for, and every share is appreciated.
