Fight For Vicki

Donation protected
Update for Vicki:
Vicki unfortunately relapsed this past January from BPDCN, a rare aggressive Leukemia. Vicki’s treatment plan takes her back to Houston to MD Anderson Cancer Center. Vicki already had to leave her family behind including her 12 year old son for over a month for treatment. She is currently traveling back and forth from Phoenix to Houston to continue treatment every 2 weeks. As you can imagine the cost of treatment, flights and hotel stays take their toll emotionally and financially.

Tragedy has stuck again.
Vicki and her family were broadsided with a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis. It was by luck this extremely rare form of Leukemia was discovered in a rash by her dermatologist. The official cancer name was given of Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm. Because of the unknown treatment plans and what the exact course of action is the costs of treatments to save her life are going to be astronomical. She will be traveling to far distances and may even have to travel to Texas for 6 weeks at a time for treatment.

Rewind 8 Years....
8 years ago Vicki was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. She went through chemotherapy treatments for months and because of her strong will to live she beat it. For the last 7 years Vicki has been in remission and loving the life she was given a second chance at. She spends all of her time with her 11 year old son Kaiden and her loving wife Debbie and the family that has stood by her though her fight.

How can you help?
Though it took a lot of courage to ask for help, Vicki agreed we could start a GoFundMe to help the family through this dark time. No one is obligated to donate. A simple good thought and well wishes for Vicki and the family will help, but if you are able to assist the family in any way we are forever grateful. This will be the fight of her life and the last thing we want Vicki to worry about is the cost of the treatments she will be receiving.

This fight will not be easy, but she will win. She will fight like a girl and kick cancers ass for the second time. We as a family believe this inside of our hearts and souls. Thank you for reading about Vicki’s journey. We appreciate any and all help you can give. #Fight4Vicki
