Nicole's Fight to Breath
We have set this Fund Page up to raise vital funds to get Nicole the drugs she needs. At present there is roughly £10,000 raised and another £10,000 is needed to get this medication for Nicole.
Nicole is an amazing beautiful young girl from Belfast, Northern Ireland. A talented hairdresser, a champion dancer but most importantly a much loved Daughter, Baby Sister, Auntie, Girlfriend and Friend. Nicole's future currently lies in the hands of our Government or lack of one and the NHS.
Nicole suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, Nicole's lung function is currently at 20% and deteriorating. She is desperately in need of the drug Symkevi this will literally give Nicole a lifeline she most definitely needs! Due to the r
are form of Nicole's CF she is not eligible for a Lung Transplant.
Nicole along with Family and Friends have been on a mission raising awareness of Cystic Fibrosis, raising money to be able to approach the company who hold the drug for Nicole to have it until she is permitted it on the NHS.
With all their good work they have managed to raise much awareness on this illness and the life saving drug has become available on the NHS and this was because of all the hard work Nicoles boyfriend Ciaran and family, friends and local media carried out.
Unfortunately 5 weeks later Nicole is still yet to receive the medication and her illness is overpowering her at present! Repeated requests have fallen on deaf ears! WE ARE BEGGING!!!! PLEASE HELP HER!!!
We hear the words "hopefully" hopefully be able to get them by this date, "hopefully" is not enough! Its a young girls life on the line! Money and Politics should never even come into consideration! Time is not on Nicole's side. Something has to give and it cannot be Nicole's Life.
