Fight like a girl #Lilystrong

Hi my name is Kristy✌️❤️ 

I’ve been friends with Magen & Jason Mullen since childhood . I wanted to organize this fundraiser for them.  It is incredibly hard to see them and their kids going through this.  Their strength and Love they show daily to each other is absolutely amazing as are they. 

 

 

  For the past 16 months, Galien residents, Magen and Jason Mullen have been dealing with a hardship that is unfathomable for most parents, as their 8-year old daughter, Lily has been battling a rare aggressive form of kidney cancer. Despite all obstacles, Lily is a bright, loving, outgoing spirited 2nd grader who is full of life and has been brave throughout her fight.  Lily has two older siblings Cody,12 and Maddie,15 who have been incredible throughout everything.

 

  Last year, the family had to travel from their home in Galien to Bronson in Kalamazoo for chemotherapy and various testing almost daily some weeks. They continue to make the long trip often to help Lily overcome this terrible disease. With high costs associated with Lily’s on-going treatment, they could use any help they can get to support their efforts to help Lily defeat cancer once and for all.

 

 

 

**The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation notes that the average hospital stay costs $40,000 for a child with cancer. In addition to treatment, there are other costs that add to the already mounting stack of medical bills, such as food, loss of income due to missing work for medical care, and transportation.**

They have not asked us to do this, but we know this will give them hope ❤️and the support ❤️they need to continue to fight this battle for their daughter.
