Fight for your Cause - 2019

Hi All,

My name is Ross Viney from Waters Abrasive Blasting Services. I’ve created this page as I want to make a difference in my community. Fight for Your Cause is an annual corporate charity boxing event which I will be participating in this year with nomination from my workplace on Saturday October 19th 2019. Please come along and support all these great people who are joining me in this generous cause.

I am aiming to raise as much as possible for local support service Soldier On. Soldier On does an outstanding job supporting our defence personnel with PTSD through offering counselling services to get those affected back on their feet. 

This cause is very personal as I know family who have suffered with PTSD and can see how damaging it can be to someone’s life. Post-traumatic stress disorder or commonly known as PTSD, is a group of stress reactions that can develop after we witness a traumatic event. 

·         About 25% of people who are exposed to traumatic events develop PTSD.

·         Anyone can develop PTSD at any age. 

·         About 12% of people living in Australia will experience PTSD in their lifetime.
 

All funds raised via this page will go directly to Solider On, so please dig deep and help out as much as you can. Any donation is greatly appreciated no matter how small it is - everything counts!
