Last Tuesday, Taneisha went to the doctors office with a bad cough. After conferring with doctors, she was sent to CU cancer hospital to take more tests. The doctors took nearly 2 liters of fluid from around her lungs to help her breathe and tested the fluid for cancer. It came back that she has stage 4 cancer. The cancer is in her lungs, liver, and brain.
The family, which includes their 3 young children; Cline (7), Colbie (5), Cael (2) are completely devastated with this news, and any support you can offer through this campaign is greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go to help the Schumann family battle this horrendous disease.
The Schumann's are amazing people and need our help! Taneisha and Ryan have dedicated their lives to serve the youth of our community. Taneisha has a strong passion for serving students with special needs and help start unified sports at Pueblo West High School. She is currently a 5th grade teacher at Cedar Ridge Elementary. Ryan is a math teacher and the head wrestling coach at PWHS and volunteers numerous hours for our youth asking for nothing in return. These two have always put others first and now it is our turn to help them in their time of need.
