Update on the Picket Piece Residents Association progress. We have had a fast ball assessment of the planning application from a Barrister. They feel that they are willing to take on the case. They will do this on the basis that we are a community group that is having to fund raise. The intent of the Barrister is to bill us stage by stage so that we do not get out of our depth, they are also going to look at ways to protect us from paying Kier / TVBC’S fees if we should lose.

The business part, they want £2.5k +VAT for the initial phase. PPRA have a bank account intended solely for this, so there is no cross contamination of money and we are protected as individuals. We will be looking to get a pack together for the Barrister by Monday afternoon. Any support you can offer will be appreciated. Many thanks.
