Fight For Kathy

Family and friends,
As some of you may know Kathy Adams was diagnosed with AML-Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June 2919. This is the fasted growing cancer that causes the bone marrow to make abnormal blast cells. Next was Chemotherapy and AML went into remission. However it relapsed again in April 2020. The only option was a bone marrow transplant. With 42% chance of survival or 10% without. On 8-2020 she was referred to SLU in St Louis for more chemo and the transplant. Kathy has been placed on strict isolation for 6 months to a year - this as you can imagine has excessive cost involved due to the need to stay near the doctors . Currently she is still employed with Mizzou but health insurance will only pay partially on a transplant. Kathy also has to have a 24 hour caregiver for the entire isolation period. The chemo, Doctor appointments, hotels, and travel are very expensive. This is the same cancer Kathy's Dad was diagnosed with in 2-2000 and he expired 3 mos later. Lets help try to ease the financial stress she is going thru during this difficult time. Any donation that can be given, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated and put to good use.
