Fight for Curtis Wheeler

Donation protected
Our dear friend Curtis has been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Neuroendocrine Tumor on his pancreas. We are raising money to help with any expenses he and his family may occur during this time. No one can explain this better than Curtis himself so here is what he has to say:

"What's on your mind Curtis? I love this question before posting because I always feel like I should say A LOT Most of you who know me, know that I am a very private person who loves to post things about my faith, bacon and things that might put a smile on your face. I've always been proud to put others first because that's what my faith teaches...Love God, Love Others.
That being said...I want to share something very personal to me that I have not shared with many at all. I have cancer, actually, I have 2 types of cancer that are not related that I've been battling for the last several months.
I have Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia that is not curable and a Neuroendocrine Tumor on my pancreas that I will be having surgery on Tuesday to have removed. If they are able to remove all of the cancer in my pancreas, along with my gall bladder and possibly my spleen, I should be cured from this type of pancreatic cancer. It will be a couple of months of recovery, and once I'm healed up, I will most likely start a Chemo/Radiation combination to start battling the Leukemia.
As I've been trying to process all of this, I've come to realize how blessed I've been to meet some AMAZING people, and I just felt that everyone should hear it directly from me instead of the rumor mill.
We have a BIG GOD, and I know that the only reason I have a fighting chance is because HE allowed my cancers to be caught early. If there is anything from this I would ask of you it's this...
Listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right, see a doctor.
Listen to one another. If someone is reaching out, make the time to listen.
Whether you BELIEVE or not, be kind to one another.
Finally, PLEASE keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. If you have a minute, and can check in on Penny Wheeler
during my 6 weeks of recovery after surgery to see how she's doing, I would really appreciate it.
I love you guys"
