Fight for Baby Kelley

UPDATED***At our 20 weeks ultrasound our baby girl was found to have Type 2 Sacrococcygeal Teratoma (SCT). A large tumor stemming from her tailbone. The hospital that is equipped to handle our pregnancy, delivery, and aftercare is the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). We live in Greenville, South Carolina which is about 11 hours away with no traffic. I have luckily made it to 29 weeks pregnant. We were given a 40-50% chance that she would live long enough to be born so we are extremely greatful.  Due to life threatening complications we were just relocated to Philadelphia on 4/27/2020. We were only given a two hour notice before we had to leave home so we had no time to to make accommodations beforehand. We hoped COVID would be behind us by the time our baby came but it seems it is highly effecting our plans. We are currently looking for affordable housing near the hospital but the Ronald McDonald organization is not accepting any new families due to the Coronavirus. Hosts for Hospitals has found us an air B&B to rent from 4/30/29-5/22/20 that is not too far from the hospital luckily! We are going to the hospital every few days getting steroid shots to help our baby grow faster and to check her heart because she is starting to struggle to pump blood to herself and her tumor. Her tumor has grown to be a little larger than her head. They will watch carefully and once her condition worsens we will have an emergency c-section which could happen anytime between today and the next 3 weeks. Once our sweet girl comes into the world she will immediatley  go into a major surgery to remove the tumor and will stay in NICU until fully recovered. We were estimated she would be in NICU  here in Philadelphia for 3 months. If the tumor is found to be cancerous she will go through chemo but we are in hopes that the tumor is benign. Continuous monitoring of the baby and visits to CHOP will last until she's about 3 years old to be sure the tumor does not return. If it returns the chance of cancer is very high. We are home owners with a dog child and are trying to do everything we can to keep our home in SC in good standing so  that when our baby is ready to leave the hospital we can get back to a normal life. We were given the option to terminate our baby several times but we will not let financial strain or inconveniences determine our baby girl's chance at life. Thank you for any donation, positive thought, or prayer you can spare for our family. <3
