FIGHT FOR LOVING DAD..

On 5th October, 2017 my Dad Nasir Arain suffered a severe stroke, and has since been battling for his life in Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi, Kenya.
The intensity of the stroke, led to heavy bleeding on the Right side of his brain. He was received at the Emergency Department of the Hospital at 10 % consciousness, paralysis on his left side of his body and total loss of speech.
He was operated on immediately to stop the bleeding. During the procedure, an abnormality( form of Tumour) was found near the bleeding on the brain, and a tissue sample has been taken for further analysis to check if the abnormality is not a malignant Cancerous form( for which the results will be confirmed in couple of days).
He is currently in the HDU (High Dependency Unit) and has not attained consciousness since the operation. The doctors can not verify the extent of damage and/or potential recovery plan until he regains full consciousness; he is currently on a ventilator as he cannot breathe on his own.
I know deep down he is a fighter, given a life line he will fight to survive. Survive for his children. However, we desperately need your Help, as he does not have Private insurance and the daily cost for him being in the HDU to assist him continue his fight for life is a mammoth ordeal for our Nuclear family. The funds being raised are to cater for the operation, the HDU maintenance charges and to assist with therapies that he may need if and when he gains consciousness and responds to treatment. I can't put a value on a Father’s life.
Any money raised that it is not used for my father’s treatment will be donated to support other families whose loved ones have suffered from a stroke leaving them in the the same peril.
