Stand Up to Multiple Myeloma

On June 28th, after months of debilitating pain and suffering my mother was officially diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This is an incurable but treatable cancer of the blood that causes lytic bone lesions. This has also caused additional complications such as, extreme difficulty breathing, severe anemia, and compression fractures. In only a few days, she has undergone multiple diagnostic tests and begun radiation therapy with plans to begin chemotherapy in the next few days. She is currently on bedrest to avoid additional complications and stress while her medical team puts together the complete treatment plan. We are in for a long, hard road but my mama is the strongest, most selfless woman I know. It is now my turn to be strong for her. We are asking for prayers and support during this difficult time.
