Veteran Owned Small Business!

Fifty3 Motorcycles (Veteran Owned and Operated): Help me get my small business started! I'm a MH-53 Pave Low/HH-60G Pave Hawk  (Helicopter) Special Operations Crew Chief veteran (2002-2014) and I love motorcycles. I also have a knack for detailing, maintaining, and refurbishing those motorized bikes. I have already developed a 1, 2, and 5 year business plan for my small shop, but to get things started, I obviously need some support to stand the shop up. My current goal is to get the licenses, permits, and insurances paid for and purchase newer and safer equipment such a motorcycle lift, wheel balancer, and steam cleaner. After that, I'm hopeful that I will make enough to afford the next month and so on and so forth.

One of the major goals is to open Turtleheart Garage; the non-profit arm of FIFTY3 Motorcycles. The Turtleheart Garage was named in honor of my father who recently passed away. He was a career military veteran with nearly three decades of service. He and I talked about helping veterans with PTSD and TBI for sometime. we both knew, from experience, that PTSD robs the person of peace or makes peace a fleeting feeling. The PTSD mind is chaotic at times, over stimulated, and it fills those who suffer from it with anxiety. Working on a motorcycle, be it detailing, restoring, or customizing, can be therapeutic. Riding a motorcycle, especially one that you built with your two hands....well...that can't be explained fully in words. But the peace of mind, the freedom of the ride, the order you find when one is on the bike with the wind and weather passing by; five minutes on the bike is worth five months of therapy. Of course that's just my opinion, but that feeling is what I want to share with my brothers and sisters suffering from the invisible wounds. My brothers and sisters in arms suffering from TBI will regain hand eye coordination through the use of tools. They'll regain their confidence in the body, they regain confidence in their cognative abilities, and they learn that they are more than a limitation or injury. They'll remeber they're confident warriors. People unafraid of sweat or challenge. Turtleheart Garage is that and more.

Now's your chance to help a military veteran get a leg up and achieve a dream. Here's an opportunity to help my fellow veterans. We aren't asking for the world, just enough to get only what we need and nothing more.

From my family and I, thank you!
