Fifty Oaks Apt, Rockport, Texas

Residents at Fifty Oaks have all been temporarily housed and contacted. As residents returned to their homes, many found total devastation. Most of their furniture and personal items have been destroyed. What they need now is assistance to recoup damaged household goods. Step Forward Communities is setting up a fund to assist with short and long term assistance for recovery. Thanks to all our donors who have given over $10,000 in aid to our displaced families.

Step Forward Communities is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity (Tax ID number 461234427)
that last August raised the capital to acquire and substantially improve Fifty Oaks Apartments in Rockport Texas for the 50 families who call it home.

Unfortunately, the property was in the eye of Hurricane Harvey, a Category 4 hurricane that hit Rockport on Saturday, August 26th 2017, with 130 MPH+ winds.
