<div>100 jaar geleden werd<strong> de <em>langste Tour de France ooit </em></strong>gereden:<strong> 5745km</strong> (tegenwoordig is de lengte tussen de 3300 en 3500 km).

<div>Dit jaar ben ik 70 jaar geworden.

<div>Ik wil <strong>die 1926-editie van de Tour daarom in 70 dagen gaan fietsen</strong>. Op 30 april a.s. zal de burgemeester van Evian-les-bains het startschot lossen voor mijn avontuurlijke tocht die langs alle grenzen van Frankrijk voert. Op de dag dat de 'echte' Tour van 2026 in Parijs aankomt ( 26 juli) hoop ik ook in Parijs te arriveren.

<div>Inclusief 18 rust- cq reservedagen ben ik 88 dagen van huis.

<div>De kosten daarvan schat ik op € 9000-€ 10000 (eenvoudige hotels en voldoende eten). Een deel van die kosten hoop ik via crowdfunding binnen te halen. Het streefbedrag is <strong>€ 5745,-</strong>

<div>Van ieder donatie die ik ontvang stort ik <strong>35% in een cultureel project</strong> van <strong>MAN||CO</strong> <strong>bewegingstheater </strong>. Dit theater gezelschap, waar ik een aantal jaren met heel veel plezier gewerkt heb, vervoert haar dure technische spullen nog steeds in kartonnen dozen: Flightcases zijn dringend nodig.
