Fierce and Fighting Cancer

Here we are once again friends.

Our Michael Keefe has had cholangeocarcinoma for 15 months now.  Many people from near and far have helped to raise money and love and support him in a variety of ways.   This support Michael and his family have received has continued to help them to remain positive through this ordeal. 

Michael has been unable to work as a teacher for young children with severe special needs since his diagnosis. Michael graduated from Westford Academy, UMASS Lowell, and had just completed his Masters in  Severe Special Education from Simmons when this devastating news changed our lives forever.  Michael is lucky enough to have found a career that brings him joy; he is a natural with students who have special learning styles. He misses this part of his life a great deal.  Since he has not been able to work, he has no income for extra healthcare he requires to manage pain and keep comfortable on a daily basis. It has been and continues to be a long, difficult road for this exceptional young man who has the ability to make everyone around him smile. Now, we need to give back to him in this extremely difficult time. Please help if you can. Every bit counts. Thank you very much for your love and support.
