Fieldwork in Ecuador

Hi all,
As many of you whom will be reading this know, I am Rockhurst University Occupational Therapy Student. For my Service Immersion Level 1 Fieldwork I have been presented with the opportunity to travel to Guayaquil, Ecuador in South America!
This is a service opportunity where I will provide my OT services to adults with Hansen's Disease (a form of leprosy) in the costal area of Ecuador. This is a wonderful, intense, working trip where I will be able to complete my fieldwork requirement, serve where there are limited resources and practically no OT services, and become more culturally competent. In other words "lots of reward for lots of effort".
Expenses for this trip includes room, board and transportation and all locations are safe with standard travel precautions.
This trip does cost a bit of change, which is why I am asking you to consider making a donation to help!
I am excited to have one of the most amazing experience of my life and learn more about myself, my newly chosen profession, a culture unique to my own as well as have an opportunity to work with amazing clients and other professions. This is a chance for me to gain an incredible amount of hands on experience and truly "make a difference".
