Are you an individual or business who wants to offset some of your carbon by planting trees in a traceable way on unused or uncultivable farmland in Cornwall?

Tree planting can't solve global warming, but it is an essential part of our fight against climate change. This crowdfunder has come about as a response to a problem of bureaucracy. We, like many other farmers, want to do our bit for the environment by planting trees. However most of us have existing environmental stewardship agreements on most of our land, which means we do not qualify for grants from charities like the Woodland Trust etc.

We do, however, have space for hundreds of trees in unused or uncultivable pockets around the farm! Lets use them!

This project provides a traceable and trusted way to offset some of your carbon, plant trees, improve Cornwall's biodiversity and help wildlife. 

Your £12 will pay for the planting, protection and maintenance of 1 tree for the next 40 years. The varieties of trees planted are primarily for carbon sequestration but also to support all the objectives above. Once we run out of space, our network of farmers have also offered land to host trees, so this project can really start going.

Farmers are the custodians of countries, yet they are underfunded, under supported and time poor. This money will support farmers to support the environment, use British farmland better, sequester carbon, create habitats, support biodiversity, and just allow us all to do something at a time when we feel our hands are tied while the world goes up in flames. Traceable, trusted and now.
