Field Trip Special Needs Students

Hello All,
My name is Ryan Peers, I have been volunteering since September with the School Support Program (SSP) class at an inner city school in Oshawa, the class consists of 8 young students aged 7 through 12 with various behavioural and special educational needs. The school sits in a low income area with many of the students living in homes where earnings sit at or below the poverty line leaving students left out from participating in extracurricular outings including field trips which have an increased cost for transportation when broken down between so few students in a class.
Our class is hoping to raise enough money to cover all the expenses required for the students and E.A.s to participate in a field trip to Toronto Zoo or Ripley's Aquarium this spring where students can get to experience and learn about the amazing creatures that inhabit the world around us.
The students, teachers, educational assistants and myself will be grateful for the opportunity to participate in a field trip that they would not be able to attend with out your assistance.

Teacher Admission Free
Educational Assistants Admission $29*3=$87
