Fibroids Ruined Her Health

A woman near and dear to many needs our help with finally being able to live freely in her own body!

At only 13 years old, when most girls are finding their groove with puberty, my friend was told she "just" had endometriosis and essentially to suck it up. She lived with this for over a decade despite returning to doctors time after time in knee-buckling pain.

Nobody believed her.

Doctors gave up on her (but accepted her thousands of dollars).

From the beginning of motherhood, her condition contributed to a difficult labor and delivery and forever infringed on her ability to be as physically active as she wished to be with her child. She would leave work in the day, only to arrive home in agony and a worried glint in her child's eyes. She was forced into a career change that offered less standing time, despite all of the efforts it took to get there with putting herself through higher education as a single parent in this condition.

Over the years the pain has become unbearable causing severe back pain, nausea, migraines, and stabbing pain in the lower stomach, and longer than normal periods.

Now fast forward to 40 years old and she finally met a doctor who didn’t wave her concerns off!

She has endometriosis plus at least 6 fibroids and 1 ovarian cyst. But this experienced doctor has a treatment plan that could turn her life around despite the fact that she should have had this surgery years ago! Her condition has impacted a multitude of her bodily functions.

Since August 2022 she has had numerous doctor appointments with out-of-pocket expenses for one visit costing $500 on the high end to the cheapest copay being $150.

Multiple MRI’s, Abdominal Ultrasound, X-ray with IVP, hysteroscopy. One injection of Lupron alone was $1,002! My friend has exhausted her HSA, and cash on hand after all of the doctors visit copays, prescriptions, and monthly expenses.

All while still being a hard-working single parent. Her surgery is on 03/02/2023 at the Women’s Hospital of Texas. These funds will cover upcoming appointments and final payments. She will spend four days in the hospital after these and four weeks off of work for recovery.

My friend deserves to finally live as a free woman from now on in her body❤️ and hopefully you can help or share this with someone whom you know may assist her.
