Karen, the beloved strength of our family lost her life suddenly and unexpectedly on October 6, 2014, after surgical complications.
Karen touched the lives of so many with her vibrant spirit. She left behind her loving husband, Leroy. She leaves two adoring sons, Christopher and Jeramy. Also grieving are two daughter-in-laws that looked up to her, Heather and Mary. Karen also left rays of sunshine in her 5 grandchildren, Austin (15), Aspen (12), Jada (10), Alayna (9) and Savannah (6). Karen is also survived by her two sisters, Ronda and Linda, and her parents, Joyce and Ray. Karen also left many loving nieces and nephews. She left this world surrounded by many people who loved her.
Due to Karen's very unexpected death at age 58, her family was not prepared for the expenses of her final arrangements or the hospital bills from ICU that were left behind. Many have asked how to help and some have suggested that helping through donations toward her wishes of a timely cremation would be greatly appreciated. The family is making the arrangements at this time and hope to have her cremation done in a timely manner as she would have wanted with a personal family gathering at a family home to not incur further cost. Anything that you can contribute toward Karen's costs in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated by her family.
