I am a General Contractor in California. I am raising money for transportation and expenses to take work crews to Saint Martin to help with the recovery effort there. I am working with an organization called the K1 Britannia Foundation. They work with at risk youth on the island. We will be repairing foster homes and day care centers. The funds we are raising are for travel expenses to take skilled trades people there and to purchase tools that we will give to locals so they can conditinue to work in the areas we have trained them in once we leave.
