STRONGER TOGETHER
On Juneteenth (Friday, June 19th), we are hosting a Strength Against Racism event to raise funds for the Black Lives Matter movement. We are calling on our community to take a stand against systems of power that continue to perpetuate racism and inequality. 100% of proceeds will be donated equally to Color of Change, NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Harlem Academy. Fhitting Room is committed to matching 100% of donations up to 25K.
Juneteenth, June 19th, 1865, is recognized as the date of emancipation for the last remaining enslaved African Americans in the U.S.
