Bubba’s Recovery

Hey y’all...Over the weekend my bubba suffered a spinal injury. We’re not sure yet as to what caused it but we’re taking it day by day. He’s been at Oso Creek Animal Hospital since Saturday morning and we won’t know when he will be able to return home. Anyone who knows me knows my bubba is my whole world and means everything to me. I haven’t been able to see him since he was taken inside the hospital and didn’t even say goodbye to him.
He’s been on an IV drip around the clock for pain management and will be having appointments in San Antonio for MRIs and X-Rays during the upcoming months. When he is able to return home, he has to be on “bed rest” and won’t be able to move unless it’s to go potty. His diagnostics and current hospital stay has already totaled over $1,5000 and will only go up from here. I’m anticipating the costs for rehab and any surgery costs that might come about in order to get bubba back to himself after a few months. These expenses were unexpected and are continuously adding up. I will continue to post updates as soon as i get them.
