Sadly, on Monday 8th July 2024, Lee Hands tragically passed away, very suddenly in Düsseldorf, Germany aged 52.

Understandably, this has come as a huge shock, and not something his children Shannon, Yasmin, Charlie and Kaya had prepared for, or even imagined.

Lee leaves behind loving family members and 3 young grandchildren Vienna, Enzo and newborn Amaya.

To add to an already difficult situation, his children now need to organise a funeral in Germany, and repatriating Lee home to Newcastle to be with his family again, as well as a memorial service in the UK.

The costs of this are extremely high due to an unprecedented level of paperwork, translators, logistics and organisations being involved. It is incredibly complex due to Lee residing overseas at the time of his passing.

I have set up this funding page to help his 4 children bring their Dad home where he belongs, and to ease some of the tremendous costs associated, and relieve some pressure whilst they navigate their grief.
